What happens when I click the "Buy" button?

When you click one of the "Buy Now" buttons, you make a secure payment to us via PayPal, and then immediately download the theme files. Below is even more information about the process.

Step 1: you make a payment at our PayPal payment page

If you have a PayPal account, you can pay with available funds, or with a credit card you have on record. If you don't have a PayPal account, you don't even need to set one up. Just enter your Credit Card information and pay.

PayPal is the world's most widely used internet payment processor, and is as safe and secure as it gets.

Note: if you have a PayPal account and you choose to pay with an "eCheck", please note that this will take 4-7 business days to clear. We don't receive payment until it clears, and so you don't get ProPhoto until then. To expedite things, pay with available funds or a credit card, and you get ProPhoto instantly.

Step 2: you download ProPhoto immediately

After your payment is complete (assuming you haven't chosen to use an "eCheck" — see note above), you will be taken immediately to a page where you can download the ProPhoto theme file. Use that link to download the theme. The link expires in 3 days or after 3 downloads, so download it right away, and it doesn't hurt to make a backup copy.

Step 3: you get an email with a link to the same download page

After your purchase is complete, you will also be emailed a link to the download page. So, if for some reason you weren't taken immediately to the download page, check your email for the link to the download page.

If something goes wrong:

If you've completed payment, and something seems like it didn't work right (maybe you didn't get to download the theme, or didn't get an email) try these steps:

  1. Verify that the payment was actually made. If you have a PayPal account, login and check for the transaction. If you don't have a PayPal account and just paid by credit card, check your online credit card statement to see if the payment actually was processed.
  2. Verify that you didn't choose "eCheck" as a payment form. You can do this by logging into your PayPal account and clicking the "view details" link for the transaction. As noted above, "eChecks" take several days to process, so we don't receive payment until it clears, and you don't get the theme until it clears.
  3. Check your email inbox and spam filter for an email with details and a download link
