Customizing the Bio Area

The optional Bio area of the ProPhoto theme is extremely customizable.

Bio Picture

First of all, you can choose to upload a bio picture to be displayed on either the left or right side of the bio area. You can upload one or more pictures and customize it's display in the "Appearance" => "P3 Customize" => "Bio" => "Picture" page in your WordPress admin area.

Bio Content

Bio content is handled by WordPress Widgets. If you haven't already seen the tutorial "Understanding Widgets", click here to watch a short overview of widgets.

Once your clear on what a widget is, and how to create, remove and edit them, there are a couple of special rules you need to know about how the ProPhoto bio area is laid out. Understanding how this works will allow you to achieve the design and layout that you are looking for. The following two short videos explain how the bio area widgets sections area laid out and how to use them.
